Munger Park is located off of Greenbush Street in Lafayette, IN. The park features a large parking area, playground with slides and swings, paved walking trails, and more. The playground area is for children ages 2-12 and adult supervision is required. The park is pet friendly, however they they must be on a leash.
A few other amenities worth mentioning are the picnic tables, resting benches, and clean restrooms. Additionally, Munger Park features a little library stand located near the playground. Little libraries are small book stands where people can leave and exchange books. They are present at most of the parks in Lafayette, IN.
The paved trail at Munger Park is approximately one mile long. As you walk the trail you’ll see open green space, a large pond (which is great for fishing), and a large picnic shelter that seats up to 100 people.
